Current Highway Closures in Caltrans District 7


Caltrans District 7, which encompasses Los Angeles and Ventura counties, has reported several highway closures impacting major routes. These closures are due to ongoing construction, maintenance, or emergency repairs. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Below is a detailed list of the current closures:


Interstate 405 (San Diego Freeway)

1. Getty Center Dr Off-Ramp

• Both northbound and southbound off-ramps at Getty Center Dr are closed.

• Drivers should consider using Mulholland Dr or Sepulveda Blvd as alternate routes.

2. Southbound Skirball Center Dr Off-Ramp

• Closed for all traffic.

• Drivers heading south can use the Ventura Blvd exit as a detour.

3. Southbound Sunset Blvd Off-Ramp

• Closed to southbound traffic.

• Consider exiting at Wilshire Blvd or Santa Monica Blvd instead.


State Route 1 (Pacific Coast Highway)

1. Southbound PCH

• Closed at Sweetwater Canyon Dr.

• Motorists should reroute to Sunset Blvd or Topanga Canyon Blvd for inland travel.

2. Northbound PCH

• Closed at McClure Tunnel.

• Traffic is being redirected to the I-10 eastbound ramp.


Interstate 10 (Santa Monica Freeway)

1. Westbound I-10

• Fully closed at Lincoln Blvd.

• Motorists can exit earlier at Cloverfield Blvd or 20th St to avoid delays.

2. Westbound I-10 On-Ramps

• On-ramps at 4th and 5th Streets are closed.

• Use alternate entry points at Lincoln Blvd or Centinela Ave.


State Route 27 (Topanga Canyon Blvd)

1. Fully Closed Between PCH and Mulholland Dr

• This complete closure affects both directions of Topanga Canyon Blvd.

• Drivers traveling between the valley and the coast are advised to use Malibu Canyon Rd or Kanan Dume Rd as detours.
